Another super busy day today, but not too busy to get my daily sweat done! Ran around with the kids like crazy again, two different dentist offices today, plus school, childcare, ugh. No time for the gym during the day and we had dinner plans this evening. A friend of my husband’s from college was in town from Korea for tonight only.
So I had to jump on the hour of time that I did have this afternoon. I brought the kids home and popped in my Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown again. Today I did level two. Level two was definitely better suited to my level of yoga experience, but it still wasn’t exactly a yoga class. There was not enough warmup, not enough follow through. I wish she’d have made the workout times longer instead of just rushing through everything. I just kinda used it as a loose guide and made it my own. I liked the crow pose, and there was good ab work, but everything was still way rushed and there were small mistakes. Like her goddess pose was not a goddess pose, it was a yogi squat. I don’t know why she’s the instructor, as one of the background girls is much better than her. When the more practiced girl does things like balancing half moon, Jillian raves about how crazy and insane of a pose that is.
That being said, it got the job done, even if I had to improvise a bit. Tomorrow I’m either doing Bodypump first thing in the morning, or running for an inordinate amount of time. Depends on the weather…
