Day 59: Tuesday Yoga
Went to yoga today. It was just fine. After our standing work and balancing (dancer and tree) we laid down flat on our backs to rest for 30 seconds before moving on to some floor work. Day 58: Challenge Complete.
Today was my 15th day of yoga this month, thus completing my monthly challenge to practice yoga 15 times this month. Woohoo. My yoga has gotten much better throughout the month, especially because I’ve been spending time doing extra upper body and core strengthening moves in the evenings or after cardio workouts.

Day 57: Tramampoline!
Trampoline aerobics today. It was fun, as always. My friend joined me, which was also fun. Normal stuff, lots of bouncing. And pushups. I’m sore today because I upped my weights in Bodypump yesterday. Tomorrow is yoga with my favorite instructor!

Day 56: Bodypump

Day 55: Hatha
I went to a yoga class at the gym today. It was a gentler, hatha class. We worked a lot on external rotation and keeping the pelvis and body stable as we went through our practice. It was nice to get a reminder on my foundation.

I had a busy day today, but definitely made sure to squeeze in gym time early. 4y/o had swimming lessons at 9:30-10, by the time we were changed and out of there, it was 10:30. Day 51: Going with the Flow

Day 49: Bodypump
I haven’t been to Bodypump in a few weeks. I tried to go last Saturday but the class filled up before I got there. Today I made sure to get there early and grab a spot. I guess they change the playlist every so often, I like the old playlist better.

Child(care) Drama
On Monday, my 2 y/o got in trouble at the gym childcare. He hit a younger kid with a block, and refused to sit in time out. (We don’t do time out, so he had no idea what they were doing to him). Day 48: Ellipses
I did 45 minutes on the elliptical today. I wanted to use the AMT, but the gym location I went to didn’t have any. I cranked up the resistance a bit and worked it out while I watched Futurama on my iPad. Annnnd, wellp, that’s about it!

Day 47: Easy Run
Today I drove 5 hours, I have a sore throat and have a certain ‘girly’ situation that arose. I wasn’t able to exercise until this evening, but was able to make my local running club’s Thursday night training run. It’s just a 3 mile run, that happens to be around my neighborhood. Day 45: Out of Town Yoga
Went to the gym here and did yoga. More heart opening, appropriate for Valentine’s day, I suppose. The class was ok, not as good as my favorite instructor’s yesterday. I stayed after and did some strengthening stuff and practiced my head stand. Tomorrow my sister and I are gonna try a local studio.

Day 44: Backbendy
Today we worked on really opening the heart. It is the day before Valentine’s Day, right? Lots of backbending, heart opening, bridges, and eventually working up to Dwi Pada Viparita Dandasana (Two-Legged Inverted Staff Pose). We did a supported version, hands supporting hips. I was able to do a really nice one, it was lots of fun! I feel like I have great posture now, haha!

Day 43: Trampoline
Did trampoline today again, just like every Sunday. It was a good class, but it was FREEZING in there at first. Eventually we warmed up and got a good workout in. It was fun, as always.
I bet my triceps will be sore tomorrow. We did some tricep work, which is great, because it’ll help my chataurangas.
In other news, I’ve worked out every single day for six weeks.

Day 42: Too late for Bodypump!
I woke up early this morning to make it to the 8:30 Bodypump class. I normally run on Saturdays, but it was less than 30 degrees today, and I have zero desire to run for an hour on the treadmill. I walked in to the gym at 8:29, and Bodypump was full. I should have seen that coming, it’s a Saturday morning and everyone is home and wants to get their workout out of the way early. I did too....

Day 40: Jillian Michaels Yoga
So as I mentioned in my last post, I had a crazy, stressful day. I intended to go to yoga after my 4y/o’s football class, but then I realized I forgot my ID. This was problematic because I can’t put said 4y/o into the gym childcare without my ID. So I had to come home instead, and after this day, I just oped to do a yoga video.
