My name is Becca and I live in Texas. Late 20’s, two kids, married. Grew up riding horses, never had to worry about fitness, it was a natural byproduct of riding. Stopped riding after college, when I had to support myself financially. Riding is so expensive and time consuming. I really miss it.
After kid #2, was really unhappy with what I saw in the mirror. I started with the Couch to 5k running program, then did the Bridge to 10k, then trained for a half marathon. The day before my first half, I caught a stomach virus and was too ill to run. It was really depressing. It was also getting HOT outside and I was struggling to run in the heat. So I thought I’d stop for the summer. And then I never started again. I had also been practicing yoga 5ish days a week. I kept up with yoga for a few months, but when my oldest son started school, that kinda trailed off too. Since August, I’d been doing a lot of nothing. And that’s not ok.
Over Christmas, I thought of a challenge. I challenge myself and I challenge you to sweat once a day every single day. 365 days a year. This is where I write about my journey, I call it move365.
